What happens to the content you paste into Fynch, whether it's used to train AI, who can see your work, and how to delete your data.
Your content belongs to you. Fynch uses what you paste, write or upload only to provide the service to you, and never uses it to train AI models. For the full details, read our Privacy Policy.
What Fynch collects
- Account details: Your name, email, profile picture and company, including when you sign in with Google or Microsoft.
- Your content: The drafts, files, prompts and instructions you give Fynch.
- Usage data: Technical details like your IP address, browser and device, and the actions you take in your workspace. This is used to keep Fynch running smoothly and fix problems.
Is my content used to train AI?
No. Fynch doesn't use your content, or the drafts it creates for you, to train or fine-tune AI models.
How your data is protected
- Your data is encrypted while it travels (TLS 1.3) and while it's stored (AES-256).
- Fynch never sells your data or shares it for marketing.
- It's shared only with the service providers needed to run Fynch, such as hosting, payment processing and email delivery.
Who can see your work
- Your team: People you invite to your workspace can see what's in it.
- Shared reports: When you select Share on an AI Search report, anyone with the direct link can open it.
- Fynch staff: Only with your permission to help with a support request, to investigate a security issue, or when required by law.
What not to share
Don't paste or upload credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, bank details or health information. Fynch isn't built to handle sensitive data like this.
How Fynch audits websites
The AI Search grader reads public pages only, the same way a search engine does. It doesn't log in or access anything behind a password.
Delete your data or request a copy
Email info@getfynch.com to delete your account, get a copy of your data, or correct something. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Deletion is permanent.
