Creating Your Business Overview

Your Strategic North Star

The Business Overview is one of the most important documents in your FynchAI Workspace. Think of it as your agent's internal cheat sheet about your company. By providing this foundational context, you ensure that every part of strategy, content, and recommendations provided by your agent perfectly aligned with your business goals.

Why Your Business Overview is Essential

Completing your Business Overview is the first and most critical step to unlocking the full power of your AI partner.

  • It Acts as a "North Star": This document serves as the single source of truth for your company's mission. It guides all of your agent's reasoning, ensuring every marketing task (from a single social media post to a full campaign plan) is purposefully driving toward your objectives.

  • It Powers Intelligent Learning: Your agent's ability to learn and adapt to your needs starts here. The Business Overview provides the core context that it uses to understand your brand, which makes the assistance smarter, faster, and more personalized over time.

  • It Guarantees Strategic Alignment: Without this context, the agent would just default to generic best practices and advice. With it, it can move beyond simple task execution and act as a strategic partner, proactively identifying opportunities and creating content that speaks directly to your target audience about your unique offerings.

How to Create Your Business Overview

You can find the Business Overview section in your Workspace main navigation. You have two simple options to get it set up:

Option 1: Fill It Out Manually

If you already have clear documentation on your business, you can navigate to the Business Overview page and fill in the key sections directly. These typically include:

  • Industry & Niche: What market do you operate in?

  • Target Audience: Who are your ideal customers?

  • Key Offerings: What products or services do you sell?

  • Competitors: Who are the key players in your landscape?

Option 2: Ask Your Agent to Create It for You (Recommended)

The easiest way to get started is to simply ask your agent. Provide me with your website URL or any existing documents, and give me a chat or email message like:

"Create a business overview for my company based on my website: [URL]"

I will analyze the information, draft a comprehensive overview covering all the key sections, and save it directly to your Workspace for you to review and approve.

Keeping Your Overview Up-to-Date

Your business will evolve, and your Business Overview should, too. It’s a living document. You can return to it at any time to make edits manually, or you can simply ask your agent to update it based on new information. For example:
