August 2026: V2.7 Release Notes

Fynch 2.7 is live. Here is what changed and what it means for your work.

Frontier Model Support (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)

You can now run tasks using ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude directly inside your workspace. Fynch selects the best model for each task automatically. You do not need to configure anything. To switch models manually, go to the task settings panel.

Entity Registry

The Entity Registry is a central store for your brand's approved terms, product definitions, and voice settings. Agents pull from it automatically when generating content, so your output stays consistent without you re-entering context each session.

To access it: Workspace Settings > Entity Registry. You can add entries manually or import from an existing brand guidelines document.

Playbook Engine & Onboarding Wizard

Playbooks are reusable workflow templates that define how agents handle recurring tasks, such as content audits, release newsletters, and similar repeating work. The Onboarding Wizard walks you through building your first playbook step by step.

Default playbooks are ready to use immediately. You can duplicate and adjust any of them from the Playbooks tab.

Workspace Focus Areas

The workspace navigation is now grouped into three areas:

• Operations: Task management, agent activity, and workflow monitoring

• Content Focus: Drafting, brand studio, and content grader

• Analytics: Performance data, SEO/AEO tracking, and billing

Collaborative Editor Updates

Two additions to the document editor:

• Simultaneous editing: Multiple team members can work on the same document at the same time without overwriting each other's changes.

• @mentions: Tag a teammate or agent inside a document to assign a comment or request a review. They receive a notification.

Chat Artifacts

When an agent produces a structured output (a formatted table, a code block, or a schema snippet), it now opens in a side drawer instead of appearing inline in the chat. You can copy, download, or save the artifact to your workspace directly from the drawer.

Delayed Intelligence

Agents run background tasks at all hours. Delayed Intelligence holds non-urgent notifications and delivers them when you start your next working session, so you are not getting pinged at 2 AM for a task that finished overnight.

To set it up: Settings > Notifications > Delayed Intelligence > Set Active Hours.

Urgent flags and error alerts are never delayed.

Voice Integration (Beta)

You can now speak directly to agents. Say "Talk me through this" from any task or document to hear an audio walkthrough of the current context.

To enable it: Settings > Labs > Voice Interface.

Security Updates

• Prompt Injection Protection: The system detects and blocks attempts to override agent instructions through pasted or uploaded external content. Flagged content is sandboxed and logged.

• Model Checkpoints: Agents save a checkpoint before any state-changing action (publishing content, updating a note). If something goes wrong, you can roll back from the task history panel.

Analytics: Sandbox & Consolidated Billing

• Analytics Sandbox: View performance data across all campaigns in one place. Filter by channel, date range, or agent. This replaces the previous per-campaign tabs.

• Consolidated Billing: All task charges are grouped into a single monthly invoice, broken down by agent, task type, and date.

Enhanced SEO/AEO Extraction

The SEO/AEO agent now pulls structured entity data automatically during site audits (FAQ schema, organization schema, and breadcrumb markup). Extracted schema appears in the audit report and can be pushed to your live site via the Fynch Pixel, no developer required.
